I’m a youth worker. I had various jobs all the past few years with low-income “at-risk” youth, and am starting this blog to put in writing the most laudable lessons I’ve learned from kids. Kids are honest. They are imaginative, tough, and so much fun. They are our future. I work with kids because I love them, and because I relish the opportunity to act like one as often as possible. As one of my club members once remarked, “You’re kind of a kid, aren’t you?”
Well, yes, Ella, I believe I am.
Always make sure to enjoy a little childishness.
